Reviews are given after selling/purchasing a product on Wallapop. They can be done either from the app or from the Wallapop website.
There are two different valuation procedures depending on whether the transaction was made through Wallapop or outside of Wallapop.
How to review a transaction made through Wallapop?
We consider a transaction made through Wallapop to be one in which the Wallapop shipping service or in-person payment through Wallapop was used.
- Once the buyer has received the product, the option to review the product for both users will appear in the chat.
- Both buyer and seller will be asked to review the buying experience by assigning a score from 1 to 5 stars and leaving a short review.
Both reviews will be recorded in the profiles and will be visible to other users once the rating has been made.
How to review a purchase/sale made outside of Wallapop?
When the seller marks the product as sold, a screen will appear where you can select the name of the user to whom you sold the product and make your review by assigning a score from 1 to 5 stars and leaving a short review. Next, the app will show the buyer a screen where they can rate their experience with the seller, following the same procedure as the seller.
Both reviews will be recorded in their respective profiles and will be visible to other users when both have rated. Keep in mind that if either party does not do the review, neither will be posted.
Remember that if you opt out of the review option, you will not be able to do so at a later date. We recommend that you review all of your transactions because this helps to increase the trustworthiness of our community.
Is it possible to change the reviews?
As a general rule, and to maintain trust and transparency on the platform, we keep the ratings of all our users published.
For this reason, you will not be able to edit or delete reviews that other users have posted about you. If you would like to edit one of your reviews, you can do so by clicking on the contact button below. To do so, you will need to provide us with the name of the user or the title of the listing on which you posted the review, the new text to be added (150 characters maximum), and the number of stars (1 to 5).
