What is Klarna?
Klarna is a new payment method available on Wallapop. With Klarna you can buy now and pay later, with the different options offered by Klarna (Pay now, Pay in 3 installments or Pay in 30 days).
From Wallapop we work for you to buy with peace of mind, so below we give you all the details to use this payment method.
How to pay with Klarna on Wallapop?
1. Choose the Klarna option and select Buy on the Wallapop payment screen.
2. A new screen will open to add the phone number registered in Klarna.
3. You will need to add the verification code you received on your phone.
4. Enter your email address.
5. Add the requested information, date of birth, first and last name and address.
6. Then select the payment option of your choice.
- Pay in 30 days: Pay the amount up to 30 days after the purchase without interest. This option may not appear on all your purchases, it depends on Klarna.
- Pay now: Pay the full amount immediately.
- Pay in 3 installments: Pay the amount in 3 installments, interest free. Payments are made automatically every 30 days. This option is only available for purchases over 35€.
7. Enter your ID
8. Add your card details.
9. You will see a summary of your purchase, with the information you have provided and click on Pay with Klarna.
10. If the payment is successful, you will return to Wallapop and you will be able to review the details of your transaction. In case there is an error in the process, you will be returned to Wallapop and you will see an error message and the option to retry the transaction.
Please note that steps 4, 5, 7 and 8 above are only for new Klarna users, if you already have a Klarna account you will only need to verify your phone and select the payment method.
This payment service is offered by Klarna, Wallapop is not in charge of accepting or not the payment with Klarna. If you have any problems with your payment, please contact Klarna Customer Service.

Frequently Asked Questions
When can I use “Pay in 3 installments” with Klarna?
This option with Klarna can be used for purchases over €35 and up to a limit of €2500.
What happens if my order is cancelled or returned?
Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments and refund any amount due. The refund will be made to the card associated with your Klarna account.
