This service allows short- and long-distance shipments of products posted on Wallapop in a secure manner for both users. Shipments will be made by Poste Italiane or Bartolini.
To use this service, the buyer will have to make the purchase via the "Buy" button at the bottom of the ad. He/she will also be able to negotiate the price and ask questions about the product from the "chat" button below the product photos. At the time of purchase, the buyer can choose from several shipping methods:
- Delivery to an address. A home, office, etc. address must be registered to receive the shipment.
- Pickup at a Poste Italiane office. You will need to select a Post Office from those available on the map. Please note that with Wallapop you can only send and receive packages through the Post Office network, Punto Poste and Locker services (tobacconists etc...) are not available. If a Post Office does not appear on the map, it means that it is not available and cannot be selected.
- Pickup at BRT-fermopoint. For shipments from Spain to Italy, you can choose the pickup option at BRT-fermopoint.
The seller will have to accept the shipment, which can be seen both on the chat and in the "Shipping" section in the main menu.
If the seller accepts the offer, a shipping label with a QR Code will be generated. In order to send the package, the seller will need to go to an Italian Post Office within 5 calendar days of accepting the purchase
Both seller and buyer will remain updated on the status of the shipment directly on the mobile app and can also be notified on the Poste Italiane website using the tracking number that will be provided in the "Shipments" section in the main menu.
The buyer will receive the package in approximately 4 business days from the time it has been delivered by the seller to courier/transportation agency. Once received, and after the 48-hour period within which the buyer can claim a problem, payment will be made to the seller who will receive it in Wallapop's wallet and can keep it for future purchases or transfer it to a bank account.
Remember that each tracking number is intended to send only one product, so it is not possible to split or group shipments.
